While students may still need to complete additional credits beyond the standard 120 depending on their chosen program, this shift significantly reduces uncertainty and helps students more accurately estimate the time and cost remaining to degree completion.

Many of these learners may have previously been told that only a portion of their associate-level coursework would count toward a bachelor degree.
